Board Elections Extended Through 18 November
It has come to the attention of the CAMOC Elections Committee that not all eligible members received the voting link sent out on 6 November.
In order to ensure that everyone has adequate time to vote for the new CAMOC Board for the upcoming 2025-2028 term, the committee is extending the deadline to vote into next week. The voting platform will remain open until Tuesday 18 November at 11:59 UTC.
Please note that your vote this year matters, as we have 13 candidates running for 11 spots. If you have already voted, thank you. If not, please do!
CAMOC individual and institutional members may each cast one ballot to vote for up to 11 individuals to serve on the new board.
To review the 13 candidates’ biographies and statements of motivation, please consult the following document: CAMOC Board 2025-28 Candidates (PDF)
Members are also invited to vote on pursuing a name change for the committee from ICOM CAMOC to ICOM Cities. The proposed name change is part of a broader effort by the International Council of Museums to replace international committee acronyms with shorter names reflecting the committees’ core activities. The purpose is to enhance communication, visibility, and inclusivity.
The online voting portal will close on 18 November 2025 at 11:59 UTC. The new board will be announced via email and later next week.
